Here's a pretty sick one.

This one occured in a live small stakes ring game at a casino. The blinds were only $2 / $3, which was unfortunately the only game running. Typically, I try to avoid the small stakes games, but by husband was hanging out with friends at the bar, and I'm not much of a drinker myself. So I ordered a Sprite and of course gravitated toward the poker room.

I get pocket Kings from the big blind and raise to $12. I get 2 callers.

The flop comes 10 9 5 rainbow. I bet out $50. The UTG player calls, and the button folds.

Turn comes a 4, with two hearts on board now.

The pot is now about $140. I go all in for a little over $200. UTG calls.

A Jack falls on the river.

He turns over J4 offsuit and scoops up the pot.

Brilliant play!

At that point I realized that I'd have better luck on the slots than playing low stakes poker. The slots were nicer to me than the poker tables were, and I left up for the night (well maybe even after my husband paid his bar tab ).

It is a big mystery as to why a person calls with junk. They are predicting that miracle river that will give them the pot. I cannot see calling with the four on the turn. You raised preflop and did everything you where supposed to do. I would have felt better if the had aces. A donk around every corner. X

i hate that n they seem to hit 90% of the time. Gud when u fuck them tho

Wow. That's terrible. Scary how people will throw money away (or at least try to) at the casino.
