The Awesome Suggestion

Post  TheDude167 on Fri Nov 28, 2008 3:02 am

I thought of a good idea, I think we should only give password out to active members, next time. I would say about 20 posts would be active.

That's actually a great idea. The only problem is that it may encourage post spamming, unless the stipulation were that the posts had to be "quality." The problem is that eventually I could end up overwhelmed by attempting to check hundreds or even thousands of posts for "quality."

Unless I had some moderators to help with this task, it could grow to be a big problem. Anyone interesting in moderating one of our subjects? Wink

Perhaps we could also occasionally host exclusive games for our most active forum members.

Nice suggestion though. We'll see how the 1st game goes and get a better picture of where we ought to go from there.

My Other Idea is that you make a restricted freeroll next time to people who you think qualify...... or should be able to play.....

Please....as a member of many forums and on the Board of Directors of one. I ask you to stay away from post quotas.
The reasons being that some will try to put up anything to get/keep the count up, after awhile will follow the decision that someone determines qual;ity of the posts and on and on. Now we are playing forum and not poker. The only "quality" posts in any forum come from honest reactions to situations. The people that join should br POKER PLAYERS not AUTHORS.
thank you.
