Mirrors are undoubtedly the best friend of a woman. A woman can spend several hours admiring her own beauty standing in front of it. The reflecting property of the mirror helps to create an illusion of greater space. Fixing it on the wall or any other space does not require much effort. Moreover, decorating the rooms with the shiny objects does not cost much. Hence, it is a very convenient option for increasing the décor of any room. The reflecting objects can be fixed at almost any suitable position for the purpose of decoration or simply for its functional purpose. The objects to be reflected on the mirror play a vital role in determining the position where it can be fixed. The reflecting materials are obviously fixed in the bathroom or near the sink. The dressing room of a woman is an ideal place for fixing a mirror. Mirrors are of different types and based upon the purpose of use they can be segregated into a number of different varieties. Some mirrors with plane surfaces are obviously used for the main purpose of viewing the image of certain items and usually these are fixed in a room. In amusement parks, mirrors of different shapes and sizes are used to create peculiarly shaped images. Some mirrors, which are bulged at the center make the person or any object placed before it look fat in the middle and tapering at the top and lower ends. Another kind of mirror has a concave surface and the object in front of it appears to be of smaller size. Some mirrors can even be designed in a manner that creates a curved or meandering image.

The texture of the mirror also varies according to the use to which it is put. In some mirrors a silver coating along with two coats of protective paints is used behind the reflecting surface, these are very expensive. This type of mirror is called low aluminium glass mirror. Silkscreen printed glass mirror is made by using an inorganic ink that produces patterns onto the glass through a special screen. Thus, it is clear that mirrors can be of different textures and can be made in a variety of ways. Naturally, the cost of these mirrors will vary according to the material used.
